Documentary about conceptual poet Kenneth Goldsmith.

Some interesting points raised about language. Firstly, there’s enough language already in existence, It’s just a matter of an ‘agent’ to sort through it, interpret it, edit it, apply meaning etc. ‘The old sentence’ is just fine.

Writing is several decades behind painting in that writers are still (unnecessarily) preoccupied with archaic notions of character, narrative, development etc.

‘Deconstruction’ was done to death in the 20th Century. The thing to do now is to organise and rearrange language. The reader is invited to construct the meaning, rather than the writer.
